Secours Catholique-Caritas France

Secours Catholique-Caritas France is a French non-profit association, recognized as being of public utility since 1962. As a service of the Catholic Church whose mission is to support the most vulnerable, the association is mobilized throughout the territory in France and overseas and provides support in more than 52 countries and territories in connection with the Caritas Internationalis global network. Secours Catholique attacks all the causes of poverty, inequality and exclusion. The association places at the heart of its action the participation of those supported and the strengthening of everyone's capacity to act together.

In France, the association challenges public opinion and public authorities and offers long-term solutions. In Central Africa, and mainly in the « Grands Lacs » region, it supports development and emergency aid projects through networks of local, organized and autonomous civil society actors.
