Associacio Catalana per la Pau

Associacio Catalana per la Pau is an organization committed to transforming the living conditions of the most disadvantaged and for the establishment of more equitable social structures, for the full expression of individual and collective rights and the eradication of poverty.

We work to enable the exercise of the rights that guarantee the dignity of people throughout the world, through instruments such as cooperation, humanitarian action, education and awareness-raising, social mobilization and political advocacy.

We work to promote and defend all rights, with a particular focus on the right to food, women's rights, human rights defenders, global justice education and humanitarian action.

Since its creation in 1990, the Associacio Catalana per la Pau has worked in over 25 countries. In collaboration with civil society organizations, we are currently developing projects in 15 countries. We have 4 priority countries (on which we carry out comprehensive work and commit more resources): Colombia, Palestine, Democratic Republic of Congo and the Philippines.

In Catalonia, and with the international networks of which we are members, we create synergies and share our efforts with other entities and institutions that are also calling for a fairer world.
