Norwegian Church Aid
Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) works together with people and organisations across the world to eradicate poverty and injustice. NCA is an ecumenical diaconal organisation for global justice.
NCA provides humanitarian assistance and works for long-term development. In order to address the root causes of poverty, they advocate for just decisions by public authorities, businesses, and religious leaders. Its support is provided unconditionally, with no intention of influencing anyone’s religious affiliation. Most of its work is undertaken together with local civil society partners — many of whom are faith-based actors.
NCA works at:
- Supporting people to act as agents of change
- Working for accountable governance
- Advocating nationally and internationally
- Bringing constituencies together for global justice
- Exploring new ways to cooperate with the private sector
